DEFINITION OF A VOLUNTEER:
A person who spontaneously undertakes tasks.

Volunteering to do anything for anybody or any organization is a sacrifice by the volunteer. It is something that is done with passion and enthusiasm, for the recipient, by the volunteer. Volunteering generates a sense of caring and community spirit, and shows a strong belief by the volunteer for the organization they are supporting. Without volunteers, especially in NON PROFIT organisations, development of the organization would be a lot slower - volunteers are invaluable.

Ethembeni has a really dedicated team of volunteers, and is also blessed with volunteers from outside South Africa’s borders for time to time.

The statistics table below are an indication of the voluntary support Ethembeni receives locally and internationally, and Ethembeni salutes all the volunteers that give so freely of their time, finance, skills and prayerful commitment.
